How To Summon Thanatos (MVP)

 Thanatos Summoning Guide

First of all you need to collect 4 Fragments needed to summon Thanatos(MVP)

Get Them from the following:

• Fragment of Agony (dropped by Thanatos Dolor )

• Fragment of Despair (dropped by Thanatos Despero )

@warp tha_t07 / tha_t11 

• Fragment of Hatred (dropped by Thanatos Odium )

• Fragment of Sorrow (dropped by Thanatos Maero )

 When you have all 4 fragments collected use @warp thana_boss where Thanatos is resting

 

Now Lets Begin, First sequence is to start from Fragment of Sorrow (thana_boss 217,167):



Then proceed down clock-wise to Fragment of Agony (thana_boss 202,75):




Next is Fragment of Hatred (thana_boss 80,76):

After 4 Fragments are inserted, proceed to 141,218 all 4 monsters you have killed will be summoned again, you need to slay them all, then Thanatos will appear at the Center.

Quest Repeatable: No

Step 1: Find Sincere Follower Urstia at Rachel (157,183). She is located a small north from a core fountain. Shows seductiveness to her pronounce of Freya, she will tell we about her son. Accept her ask during a finish of a conversation, she will give we a Gray Necklace (Ashy Necklace). You will need to take a necklace to Maheo in a Ice Dungeon.


Step 2: Go find a Man Stuck in Ice in Ice Dungeon Level 2 (@warp ice_dun02 120,105) Talk to him, he is Maheo who Urstia is looking for. He will determine to assistance we to gleam a necklace though we have to get him out of a ice first. To do that, he will ask we to find his master who is located nearby Freya's Spring.


Step 3: So go find Hamion during Rachel (@warp rachel 265,98), only a small south from a East Entrance of Rachel by a H2O area. He will ask we to move him 1 Hammer [2] , 1 Blank Scroll and 5 Rough Wind in sequence to emanate a enchanting artifact that will mangle a ice that is trapping Maheo. You can get a Black Scroll in a Sage Academy in Yuno (the Seller is really tighten to a entrance).

So find these equipment and move them behind to him. He will use them to emanate a Hammer of Wind. Now go behind to Maheo and mangle a ice to giveaway him.
Once we finished that, he will assistance we gleam a necklace. The Gray Necklace (Ashy Necklace) will turn a Shining Necklace (Sparkling Necklace). You will also obtain 4 Ice Powder (Freezing Snow Powder). Now we can take a necklace behind to Urstia and she will prerogative we with 700,000 bottom knowledge points as appreciation.

(Main steps to Summon Ktullanux)
Step 4a: By completing this quest, we now have a ability to serve Ktullanux (MVP) located during level 3 of a Ice Dungeon. First, we have to extinguish a 4 Blazing Fire with a 4 Ice Powder (Freezing Snow Powder) performed from Maheo. How To Summon an MVP using Abracadabra

What is Abra?

Item Required: 2 Yellow Gemstone

Effect: Casts a random skill (can be ANY player skill e.g. Auto Counter or Hide and some special skills) at your own skill level. May produce some odd and funny effects. Requires 1 Yellow Gemstones to use, and anything the produced skill would require e.g. Trap, Blue Gem, Red Gem or Paintbrush. The produced skill will change in a random pattern with each cast. Even with catalyst reducing items (Mistress Card) or buffs (Bard/Dancer Into the Abyss) the cost will not drop below 1 Yellow Gemstone; a For-Fun-Skill.

This is the official description of Abra. It also includes some other interesting effects. One of these is a skill that looks like this:

This skill will do 5 things:

· Instant Kill

· Monocell (changes monster into a Poring)

· Change Class (Transform normal monster to MVP and MVP to normal monster)

· Fortune (Increase zeni = your level x 100 zeni)

Requirements: Lots of Yellow Gem and Dead Branch 

How to summon: First find a map that is small enough (e.g. jule_ele) so that when you successfully summon an mvp, you can easily kill it even if the MVP uses teleport. Use a Dead Branch to summon a normal monster, then start spamming Abracadabra until you get the ???? skill, then target the monster you have summoned, the success rate of getting Change Class (Transform Normal Monster to MVP) is purely random so you have to be patient with this.

1. Talk to the Recruiter for the Brave in the Prontera Castle (prt_castle 83, 67) (north-west corner of first castle room when entering from within Prontera). Tell him you're interested in his mission, which is to visit a "special place." He then asks you to visit a Promotional Staff member in Aldebaran.
   • 
2. Talk to the Promotional Staff member in Aldebaran (aldebaran 127, 138). As a test, he asks you to bring him 300 Jellopy. After handing over the Jellopy, he asks you to visit a Promotional Staff Member in Geffen.
   • 
3. In Geffen, talk to the staff member (geffen 90, 67). He asks you to bring 1 Emerald. After turning it in, he asks you to bring 1 Ruby. Bring him the Ruby, and he sends you to talk to the next staff member in Izlude.
   • 
4. In Izlude, talk to the staff member (izlude 99, 136). If you are at least base level 70, he tells you that you've passed the tests, and to talk to the Recruiter in Prontera Castle again.
   • 
5. Return to the Recruiter, who says you are now ready to explore the "Ash-Vacuum" which is an entirely different place from Rune Midgard. He tells you go to to Lighthalzen to register for the United Midgard Alliance.
   • Receive 66,000 (99,000 VIP) Base EXP (iRO Ymir) or 660,000 (iRO Valk)
   • Receive 21,000 (31,500 VIP) Job EXP (iRO Ymir) or 210,000 (iRO Valk)
6. In Lighthalzen, go into Rekenber HQ (lighthalzen 101, 246) and talk to the Guards upstairs (lhz_in01 124, 234), who let you in to register.
   • 
7. Talk to Sikaiz at the front of the room, who's giving a speech.
8. After Sikaiz is finished lecturing, speak to him again and he will tell you about the Ash Vaccum and Satan Morroc's gateway.
9. Speak to him again and he will ask you to inform the Alliance Manager in Rune Midgards that they are ready to depart.
10. The Alliance Manager in Prontera Castle (prt_castle 121, 51) will discuss with you how the kingdom feels about the upcoming expedition.

11. Go back to Sikaiz in Lighthalzen, who tells you about the Three Kingdom's Alliance and his aide Munkenro. Munkenro interrupts your conversation and you're asked to deliver a message to the Alliance Manager in Rachel.
12. Find the Arunafeltz Alliance Manager outside the temple (ra_temple 119, 113) and report the status to her.

13. Go back to Sikaiz, who registers you and sends you to talk to some Officers to let them know of your departure. Go downstairs to the banquet hall (147, 179) and talk to them, but first you overhear them plotting to ignore the peace and take control of things for themselves.
14. Report back upstairs, but the guards won't let you in. Walk to (148, 257), where you're able to overhear Munkenro talking to someone. (NOTE: If you are unable to overhear anything, then simply continue to the next step)
15. Talk to the Guard outside of the lecture hall (lhz_in01 130, 231). Ask it to teleport you immediately to the Continental Guard Quarantine (moc_fild20), and talk to the Rift Guard (moc_fild20 349, 179). He takes you to the Dimensional Gorge.

16. From the middle of the right side of the map, go towards the center until you reach Munkenro (moc_fild22b 230, 197). He says Sikaiz has "retired" and that he is now the alliance leader. He also requires you to pass another test, by defeating 50 Mobsters.

17. After passing the test, talk to Munkenro again, who sends you to the Ash-Vacuum.
